By creating an account or using CampusBuzz, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access the platform.
2. Eligibility
CampusBuzz is available to students, alumni, and faculty of verified educational institutions. You must be at least 16 years of age to use the platform. You must use a valid institutional email address for verification.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, including your password and any two-factor authentication. You agree to provide accurate and truthful information. Impersonating another person or institution is strictly prohibited.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to post content that is hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, spam, scam, or misinformation. You agree not to use the platform for commercial solicitation without authorization, harassment or bullying, sharing copyrighted material without permission, or any illegal activities.
5. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of content you post on CampusBuzz. By posting, you grant CampusBuzz a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the platform. You can delete your content at any time.
6. Content Moderation
CampusBuzz uses AI-powered moderation and human review to enforce community standards. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms, issue warnings, temporarily suspend, or permanently ban accounts involved in repeated violations.
7. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days, except as required by law.
8. Limitation of Liability
CampusBuzz is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, interactions with other users, or reliance on information provided through the platform.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
